Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Assistant to handle daily accounting tasks, including invoice processing, GST compliance, and TDS application. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and the ability to efficiently manage financial operations using SAP B1.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of transactions in SAP B1.
- Invoice Processing: Verify and process invoices while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- GST Compliance: Prepare GST returns on time and collaborate with the tax team to resolve discrepancies.
- TDS Knowledge: Apply relevant TDS sections for tax deduction at source and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Basic Accounting Rules: Follow standard accounting principles to maintain accuracy in financial statements.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports for management and auditors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments for smooth financial transaction processing.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in SAP B1 for accounting tasks.
- Strong understanding of GST and TDS compliance.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
