Job Description
Hiring Collections Specialist
Experience Required: 0 – 5 Years
Education: B.Com in Any Specialization (Mandatory)
Key Skills:
- Freshers: Good Communication Skills, Graduation Mandatory
- Experienced: Good Communication, Experience in Collection Process, International Voice Support
Responsibilities
- Review open accounts from the daily aging report.
- Monitor and maintain assigned accounts – Collection calls (Outbound/Inbound in a professional manner), account adjustments, and customer reconciliations.
- Collect customer payments in accordance with the payment due date and timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
- Monitor customer payment activity to ensure timely collections.
- Escalate non-payment cases as needed.
- Provide customer service regarding statements, refunds, and account adjustments.
- Identify issues leading to account delinquency and discuss them with customers.
- Assist with unapplied credits and short-paid invoices.
- Send dunning letters to customers for overdue payments.
- Communicate and follow up with Sales/Operations teams regarding customer accounts.
- Update daily/weekly trackers and perform self-quality checks.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and controls.
- Act as a liaison between customers, sales, billing, and internal departments.
- Follow and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate actively in learning and development programs.
- Contribute to process improvements and implementation.
- Comply with all internal and external service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate with support function teams.
- Assist in internal assessments and training programs.
- Prepare compliance-related documents for internal/external audits.
- Serve as a backup to the Team Lead as needed.
Educational Qualification
- UG: B.Com in Any Specialization
Experience Required
- Freshers and experienced candidates with outbound contact center experience can apply.
