Key Responsibilities
- Collection Role:
- Claims follow-up, denial management, AR follow-up, and appeals.
- Experience in RCM and US healthcare processes.
- Handling medical billing and collection terminology (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10 coding).
- Insurance Verification Role:
- Eligibility verification (EVBV), billing, and provider-side insurance verification.
- Coordination of benefits for government and commercial insurances (PPO, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid).
Requirements
- Mandatory:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and navigating multiple screens.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in AR caller roles and medical policy information.
- Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and healthcare compliance.
- Ability to analyze insurance payments, adjudicate claims, and prepare necessary documentation.
- Restrictions:
- Payer experience not applicable.
