Purpose of the Role
Tata Motors is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Specialist/TA Associate to join our dynamic HR team. Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing
- Proactively identify and source candidates using multiple channels such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and networking events.
- Conduct research to identify potential talent and build a diverse candidate pipeline.
Job Postings
- Collaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements.
- Post job openings on the company’s career page, job boards (internal and external), and social media platforms for maximum visibility.
Screening Applications
- Review and evaluate resumes and applications against job requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Interview Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with respective stakeholders to ensure a seamless process.
Candidate Experience
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide timely feedback and resolve candidate queries effectively.
Offer & Onboarding
- Negotiate offers by balancing organizational budget constraints with candidate expectations.
- Assist in onboarding new hires, including preparing offer letters and conducting orientation sessions.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and organized within agreed timelines.
MIS and Data Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities, including candidate interactions and interview feedback.
- Generate reports on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate conversion rates.
Market Research
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles, including engaging with passive candidates.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market mapping to benchmark recruitment strategies and salary offerings.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in BA/BBA/B.Com/B.Sc./BCA with 5–10 years of experience.
- Note: Full-time MBA/Master’s degree holders are not eligible for this position.
Experience
- Prior experience in recruitment agencies or RPOs is mandatory.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of recruitment metrics and analytics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
